Wedding is for life - pictures for eternity
The wedding is a great highlight in ones life and the best way to keep the memories vivid are with great pictures. By using a professional photographer you can keep the true beauty of your looks that day and the event day itself. A good photographer is not cheap, but when the cake is eaten, the honey moon is gone and the dress doesn't fit any more, you will still have your pictures and video recordings. The money spent on photography is an investment.
At Morre Photography we prefer to take pictures on location, and we have battery powered mobile studio equipment making it possible to shoot studio quality shots out in the open or in any environment.
Advice and decisions to make
- The sound of clicking cameras and lightnings going of can become disturbing during the wedding ceremony. By using a proffesional photographer, you can freindly ask the guests not to use thier own cameras, and inform them that the professional taken pictures will be given to them later. This agreement also gives the guests the freedom to focus on the wedding ceremony.
- Will you take the possepictures before or after the ceremony? Before the ceremony the stress level might be high, but after the ceremony the make-up might be ruined. We recommend to shoot the possepictures before the ceremony. The photosession becomes a opportunity for you to breath on this stressfull day. And we don't mind if you would like to share a glass of champagne with us during the session.
- Good photos needs time, set aside at least one hour for the photosession. But we strongly recommend 1,5 hours. Remember, the photos will be at you during the rest of your life. So little additional time is well invested. Normally we begins with the more traditional photos "safe shoots" and then work our way to more intresting and beautiful photos. In many cases it's the very last pictures that is the best.. Beacuse then you've got used to be infront of the camera , and you get more relaxed.
- What parts do you like to catch? The traditional weddingphotos, the ceremony and during the dinner?
- Do you like photo or video? If you like, you can have a
photographer and a movie-maker during all steps. Another option is that
during the ceremony film, with this choice you only needs a
photographer that takes pictures and then later change to filming. The
positive with this option is the lower cost, while the disadvantage is
the abscens of professionalphotos being taken during the ceremony. The
video is fun to watch, but photos is faster- and they can be hung up at
the wall, being e-mail to freinds or shine up your homepage.
- What if it's rains? We prefer to take the classic wedding pictures outside, but we need an alternative in case of heavy rain. To find one - ask the locals. In some cases we go to the place for the weddingceremony to look around and find a good spot.
- We may need an assistent for the classic weddingphotos. Someone that can steady a light stand and to amuse a (reflection) is very estimated. We can stand for it, but it's much cheaper to use someone at the place.
- What kind of prints would you like? Big blow-ups to frame, a assembly in an album, some to family members, and small thank you-cards. Take a look on our prises for our printingpartner Pro Center in the column: I can
- Prints with a margin or without a margin? Glossy or mate? Prints that will be framed needs a white margin so that the print doesent cropped when the print is taped on the passe-partout. The print needs to be mate. The glass is glossy and if the print also is glossy, it can be hard to see straight on dubbel reflexion. The prints on the thank-you cards is in standard size 10x15 cm, glossy whitout a white margin, and send them in foldedcards with a photoholder. In that way the reciver can take of the print from the folder and the standard size makes it possible to put in all photoalbums.
- Edith or un-edith? We can give you a videotape or edith down the material to a DVD. Often is the material from the wedding day around 4 hours, but on the edith video are the less interesting parts off-edith wich makes the video more interesting to watch.

- After receiving your request we contact you for further details.
- We meet in our office or at your place, to plan the day.
- On the wedding day we arrive an hour before the shoot to double check the location and prepare.

- After the ceremony we follow you back behind the scenes while the guests leave. Then we sneak out with the guests to be able to capture you exit through the door and the congratulations scenes.
- After covering all requested parts of the day we head home to develop the digital pictures and to capture the video for editing.
- The best pictures are then pre-edited, exported and sent to you to decide what pictures to print.
- You return a list of pictures you want printed and what size.
- The larger prints are manually edited in Photoshop for perfection.
